The Board of Trustees carries responsibility for the statutory aspects of FMLM, including the management and audit of the organisation.
Trustees have ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the organisation, and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run, and delivering the charitable aims (see below) for which it has been established.
Trustees will also act as the Trustees of the charity once FMLM attain charitable status, and will carry and execute the responsibilities of Trustees as defined by the Charities Act and related statutes and guidance.
The Board has appointed two sub-committees: the Finance Committee, led by the Interim Treasurer, Ian Wylie, and with responsibility for strategic financial investment, management and income generation strategy, and the Revalidation and Appraisal Advisory Group chaired by Prof William Roche.
