My journey through applying for the fellowship was an opportunity to reflect on a life time of the ups and downs of leadership. The standards guiding my reflections from my time as a medical student through to today - what a journey - with its unexpected but necessary indulgence in time spent on reflection, gaining further insights and learning - and with it my validation as a leader. I have really valued the positive impact this has had on my continuing development as a medical leader and my support of those in wide ranging leadership roles. A really worthwhile opportunity.
