A series of lunchtime sessions allowed delegates to explore specific leadership issues while enjoying their lunch. Below a taster of the conversations.
Inspiring and supporting women in medical leadership
As part of FMLM’s mission to strengthen medical leadership for the benefit of patients, we seek to increase diversity amongst medical leaders. During this session, Ms Vijaya Nath, The King’s Fund Assistant Director of Leadership Development, and Dr Jane Povey, Deputy Medical Director, FMLM, led the discussions on what more we can each do individually and what steps organisations could take to increase the proportion of women involved in medical leadership throughout the system.
Just make a better decision
Have you ever wondered how to cope when you fall off the end of the pathway, protocol or guideline? The workshop delivered the key principles of decision-making theory with applied examples and the chance for discussion. Attendees gained insights into their own personal decision style and ideas for development.
