Fellowship nomination

Fellowship recognises clinicians who demonstrate a high-level of leadership competence, consistent with the Leadership and management standards for medical professionals. The award of Fellowship of FMLM is an essential step for clinical leaders that acknowledges their contribution to and impact in healthcare.

If you work with or for, a dynamic and enthusiastic clinician who you believe should be recognised for their leadership skills, experience and impact on local, regional or national healthcare, please submit a nomination form outlining their suitability.

Eligibility

Nominated individuals must meet the following requirements to be considered for fellowship:

• maintain the FMLM Leadership and management standards for medical professionals
• to maintain good standing with the GMC or GDC (for UK fellows; retired fellows must have been in good standing with the GMC or GDC at retirement)
• be revalidated and achieve satisfactory annual appraisal
• to uphold and practice the seven principles of public life
• respect and support the aims and objectives of FMLM

2. On reciept, FMLM will contact the nominee, celebrating their nomination and inviting them to apply for fellowship.
