Qualifications

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Coach, with qualifications in Leadership and Stress Management.

About Me

I am a Psychotherapist, Coach and  former Non-Executive Director for an NHS trust. I am passionate about empowerment, courageous and compassionate leadership and ensuring psychological safety to promote all to use their voice and to be seen, heard and understood. This is vital to ensure a sense of well-being and to enable a flow of health to be present into any problem or situation. I am very focused in understanding the role and exchange of power in any relationship and see the golden bridge to good, effective and influential communication as assertiveness. This enables both parties to communicate from their power base and engage in the dance of negotiation, co-operation and understanding.

I have worked with Junior Doctors and Senior Consultants and Executives.

Coaching Process

My focus as a coach is to empower you to find your flow. What this essentially means is supporting and encouraging you to develop, harness and integrate all of the elements that comprise your leadership. Such elements include your emotional intelligence, presence, self-awareness, personal resilience and courage, amongst others.  I then work with you,  in a friendly and  experimental fashion, to help you develop the trust in yourself to allow these elements to flow through you in an adaptive and situational wave, aiming for the best chance for a positive impact of your leadership.

Whatever your goal, from trying to work with conflict or aggressive/bullying behaviour to needing to streamline your time and make better decisions, we shall be a team and I am on your side.  The coaching process will be relational, warm and full of learning and growth. With support, anything feels possible.

What can I offer you?

Reality/Gestalt/ Values-Based Coaching

In this process, you are free to look back and see any key situations that puts pressure on you (inner dilemmas, conflict of values, external conflicts and dilemmas, or a combination of both). I shall be listening deeply to you and asking questions to deepen inquiry in order to gain a mutual understanding of:

1. What is the practical reality of the situation?

2. What are the tangible effects in the "now" when you face  the conflict between - how you want it to be ... and how it is?

This inevitably leads to an opening and encounter - layer by layer - with what we hold onto until you reach  a point of insight, resolution, or release. Getting to grips with the dichotomy and / or to a point of insight / dissolution / release, brings you closer to reality, leading to inner peace and self-assurance.

To face the conflict - internally and externally - in a moment-to-moment is the process of letting go (dying on all levels) to make a greater presence and thus become a better leader.

What are your three unique selling points?

1.Working with you to enhance your quality of presence and develop assertive communication that follows the thread of coherency and clarity. Thus leading to enhanced relationships, less conflict and stress and effective negotiation.

2.Supporting you to find and recognise your own personal power, through self-awareness and understand how to harness your influence thus leading to  a development of effective  values based and strategic leadership

3. Empowering you to develop and build your self-confidence and courage to trust and follow your own responses, to speak up when needed and acknowledge clear paths to realise your full potential.
