Ms Briggs is currently Head of Student & Stakeholder Engagement in the Estates & Facilities Directorate of King’s College London. This follows a career in higher education including experience at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London Careers Service, Polytechnic of the South Bank and the London School of Economics.
Ms Briggs’ career at King’s began at the then King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, subsequently becoming Director of Facilities & Services, and ultimately Director of Services for Students. As a senior manager Ms Briggs has carried responsibility in her various portfolios for strategic planning, financial management and all aspects of staff employment; she continues to have a particular commitment to high quality student services and customer care.
Ms Briggs was previously a member of the National Executive of AMOSSHE (Association of Managers of Student Services in Higher Education); and is a Trustee and University of London representative on the Council of Roedean School, where she chairs the Risk & Compliance Committee. She is also Secretary of her local Parochial Church Council.
