Ms Jessica Lee

Regional Student Representative for England - North

Jessie is a medical student at the University of Manchester, with a BSc in Medicine from the University of St. Andrews.

She has spent 15 months working in Latin America, whilst pursuing long distance studies at the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute, Manchester. She recently returned from the Peruvian Amazon, where she was study coordinator for a multinational investigation into congenital infections for a team from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to this, she worked with Partners in Health (Socios En Salud) on three multinational investigations into Tuberculosis. During her time in Peru she also served in logistics alongside the Peruvian Ministry of Health to bring aid to persons affected by widespread flooding and landslides.

She is passionate about improving health-care delivery and developing innovative medical leaders.
