She provides advice on the development of clinical commissioning policies, service specifications and quality standards for specialised rheumatology conditions. She is also Chair of Rheumatology pharmacists UK (RPUK), where she leads a group of pharmacists specialising in rheumatology across the UK.

Kalveer speaks nationally and internationally on the role of pharmacists in the management of rheumatology conditions . She is a prescribing pharmacist who specialises in early inflammatory arthritis and runs a pharmacist led clinic.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and floristry as well as Greek Mythology.

Reason for applying for the scheme

Kalveer is a current leader in her field and has a passion to extend the development of further leaders nationally. This scheme is a perfect opportunity to drive change at the top to ensure pharmacists can evolve to meet the needs of the NHS. Kalveer would relish the opportunity to work with other organisations to learn how pharmacists can deliver and accelerate growth.

She believes in life long learning and the importance of constantly challenging oneself to succeed further and therefore hopes to gain further insight into the rapidly changing world that is the NHS.
