FMLM shortlisted for Thinkers50 Award

We are delighted that FMLM has been shortlisted in this year's Distinguished Achievement Awards by Thinkers50, which have been described as the “Oscars of management thinking.”

We're one of eight diverse organisations and people being shortlisted for the Ideas into Practice category.

We owe this honour to Professor Sir Neil Douglas, FMLM Chair, and Sir Bruce Keogh for their vision and drive in establishing FMLM as the home of medical leadership and management.

We further acknowledge the role that the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and all of the UK medical royal colleges and faculties have played in founding and supporting FMLM over the past seven years.

We also wish to thank our members and fellows for their invaluable contributions to FMLM and to the wider healthcare world. We would particularly like to mention our founding members, who believed in the concept of a faculty for medical leadership from the outset - their support is greatly appreciated.

Finally we wish to thank the FMLM team for their role in establishing FMLM and taking the Faculty from strength to strength.

The final winners in each category will be announced at an awards ceremony on 13 November.
