Collaborative leadership

As part of the Better Training, Better Care Programme of interactive webinars to improve patient care, we explored the theme of collaborative leadership by looking at a project run by the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

The webinar examined the methodology, outcomes and lessons learnt from the project which aimed to improve basic psychiatric training through revised early supervision and support arrangements.

The panel included:

  • Dr Johnny Marshall, GP and Director of Policy at NHS Confederation (Clinical Lead)
  • Dr Lenny Cornwall, Project site manager (Trainee Lead)
  • Sarah Curtis, Chair of FMLM Medical Student Group (Chair)
