Doing coproduction

By Rebecca Malby

“Coproduction is an idea whose time has come… people’s needs are better met when they are involved in an equal and reciprocal relationship with professionals and others, working together to get things done.” Boyle et al 2010

The webinar was an introduction to the excitement and challenges of coproduction for people who are very new to the idea. The session was conducted by Rebecca Malby, Director at the Centre for Innovation in Health Management.

Becky has a track record in organisational development in health and social care. Becky is a critical friend of the New Economics Foundation Coproduction Network. She provides advice to the Western Cape Health department on coproduction, and has established the only postgraduate certificate in Coproducing Health in the UK.
