In this podcast, Stuart Crainer talks to Robert CIaldini, author of Influence: Science & Practice and Pre-Suasion: A Revolutionary Way to Influence and Persuade, about pre-suasion.

Pre-suasion is a new concept defined by arranging for recipients to be receptive to a message before they receive it. "But how do you get someone to agree with a message if they don't know what's in it," asks Cialdini. "The answer is to put them in a state of mind that is consistent with the goals of the message before we send it."
