Rose Review - What's the big deal?

By A Zarkali; C Williams; A Yassaee

The Rose Review examined the leadership in hospital Trusts and CCGs and made recommendations on how NHS leadership should be strengthened to deliver the Five Year Forward View.

The review identified and made recommendations on three main areas of concern: vision, people and performance.

Amongst others, it reiterates the need for training in leadership and management across all grades and disciplines and brings the focus back on 'people'.

In this one page summary, Angelika Zarkali, Charlie Williams and Arrash Yassaee, on behalf of the FMLM Trainee Steering Group, highlight what the key recommendations are and why this is important for clinicians.
