Why do we resist change? Because we’re deluded! We all delude ourselves about our achievements, our status, and our contributions.

1. Overestimate our contribution to a project.

2. Have an elevated opinion of our professional skills and standing among our peers.

3. Exaggerate our project’s impact by discounting real and hidden costs.
