In this powerful opening plenary Dr Kanani charted the journey of clinical leadership from the so-called 'dark side' of healthcare to a beacon of hope for the future. Dr Kanani spoke of the ways we can tap into the latent energy of frontline clinicians to create and sustain a culture of quality and inspiration. In doing so, Dr Kanani stirred those within the auditorium and beyond when finishing with a quote inspired by Steve Jobs: "The people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, usually do."
