Fizzah is editor-in-chief of Medical Woman magazine, as well as a freelance writer and speaker. She has particular interests in supporting flexible working, portfolio careers in medicine, and doctor well-being. Over the course of the next year she will be developing her interests in diversity within the medical profession, deprivation and health, as well as mental health.
Outside of work, Fizzah enjoys drawing and painting, yoga and travelling.

Over the course of this fellowship Fizzah will have dedicated time working with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. She believes a firm foundation of knowledge on the wider infrastructure that the NHS operates within, specific knowledge of health policy, and the overlap with politics will help her deliver meaningful change in the future.
