Professor Jane Dacre receives Honorary Senior Fellowship

We are delighted to announce that the Board of Trustees are inviting Professor Jane Dacre to become an Honorary Senior Fellow of FMLM. This is in recognition of her outstanding contribution to medical leadership.

Honorary Senior Fellowship is the most prestigious award offered by FMLM. It is awarded to recognise those who have made exceptional contributions to, or promoted the interests of, medical leadership and management in the health sector at a national level. And who have without question, demonstrated their competence against all domains of the Leadership and management standards for medical professionals (3rd edition).

The Board believes Professor Jane Dacre's leadership qualities speak for themselves - she has rightly received praise and national recognition for her achievements, by way of becoming a Dame in the late Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2018.

FMLM is also grateful for Professor Jane Dacre's support of the Fellowship Gender Gap working group, an initiative to encourage more women to apply for Fellowship, benchmarking their capability for medical leadership roles.
