The news last week that Dame Clare Marx is to step down as Chair of the GMC, due to her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, was a shock to us all. But her letter to the profession was an inspiration: thoughtful, compassionate, courageous and generous towards a profession and workforce she cares for.

Application for the 21/22 Leadership 720 Programme

Leadership720 is a new bespoke multiprofessional leadership development programme for clinical fellow alumni. 

The programme aims to:

  • enhance understanding of your own leadership
  • provide a greater awareness of the contemporary challenges of leading and how you can use your skills more effectively
  • develop a greater understanding of complexity and how your mindset  may help or hinder leading in complex systems.
