New FMLM Executive Coaching Programme
FMLM is delighted to launch a new development opportunity for clinical leaders: the FMLM Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching (PCEC), delivered in partnership with Henley Business School.
Combining FMLM’s expertise in medical and healthcare leadership with Henley’s internationally recognised coaching education, the programme offers a professional coaching qualification tailored to the healthcare leadership context.
The programme has been designed for clinicians and healthcare leaders who want to develop professional coaching skills that they can apply within their teams, organisations and across wider health systems.
A coaching programme designed for healthcare leaders
The FMLM Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching draws on Henley’s established coaching expertise while reflecting the realities, challenges and opportunities of leadership in healthcare.
Whether participants are leading teams, supporting colleagues through change, developing future leaders or looking to build their own coaching practice, the programme will help them develop the skills, confidence and credibility to use coaching effectively.
Participants will learn through a practical and experiential approach, including opportunities to coach and be coached while developing a range of coaching tools, techniques and approaches.
The programme leads to a Level 7, triple-accredited coaching qualification.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is suitable for clinicians and healthcare leaders who:
- Want to develop coaching skills to support individuals, teams and organisations.
- Are looking to strengthen their leadership practice through a coaching approach.
- Aish to gain a recognised professional coaching qualification.
- Want to apply coaching within the NHS or wider healthcare settings.
Programme structure
The programme runs over approximately nine months and includes:
- Seven workshop days.
- Four group mentor coaching sessions.
- Three one-to-one mentoring sessions.
- Pre-work and inter-workshop reading, coaching and reflection.
- 20 hours of coaching experience completed during the programme.

Cohort 1: 7 December 2026
