Mrs Jessie Frost

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System
Senior Clinical Fellow 2023/24

Jessie is a chartered physiotherapist and has specialised in paediatrics since 2008. She has worked across the breadth of health and care, most recently working for Guy's & St Thomas's NHS Trust since 2017 in her substantive role as team lead in the Evelina community physiotherapy team, working with children from 0 - 19 years with neurodevelopmental difficulties.

In 2022-23 Jessie participated in the Chief Sustainability Officer's Clinical Fellowship scheme, where she was hosted by the Chief Allied Health Professions Office and had a wide portfolio of national work focused on the integration of sustainable healthcare across several workstreams and between other organisations.

Jessie is passionate about global child health, disability and development with a PGDip in this area, and has a particular interest in the cultural and sociopolitical contexts in which legislation and models of care have developed internationally. She wants to do more as a leader to align the narrative between the social determinants of health, health inequalities over the life-course, public health and prevention and environmental sustainability.

Reason for applying for the scheme

As a proud allied health professional (AHP), Jessie is passionate about enhancing the role of AHPs in leadership with particular focus on sustainability leadership for Greener health and care. Jessie hopes that through this senior fellowship opportunity, she will grow her personal and professional leadership skills and abilities, giving her the tools and greater confidence to build a greener, more sustainable health and care system, helping to lead the our healthcare systems towards net-zero.
