Dr Carol Chan

Carol is currently an Academic GP trainee at Imperial College London. She graduated from the University College London Medical School in 2020 and completed her Academic Foundation Training in East of England.

Carol is passionate about medical education and medical leadership. In 2022, she was awarded Excellence in Foundation Education Award by Health Education East of England. As the Foundation Education Representative, she led multiple educational projects at Ipswich Hospital and facilitated on the UKFPO Train the Trainer course. She also received commendation from University of Cambridge as a clinical supervisor. As an honorary clinical teaching fellow at UCL, she is heavily involved in medical education research and has published papers focusing on innovations in curricular development and assessment. Currently, she is undertaking a PgDip in Health Professions Education. 

Carol co-founded the Hong Kong Medical Society of the United Kingdom in 2016 and subsequently completed the Healthcare Leadership Academy Scholarship. In 2021, Dr Chan joined the FMLM TSG and organised the international QI conference in collaboration with Cambridge Health Leaders.
In her time off, she enjoys swimming, cycling and running and has competed in the London Triathlon.
