Reason for applying for the scheme

Denise is excited to have the opportunity to work closely with senior and inspirational NHS leaders at a national organisation. She hopes to gain a deeper understanding of how national host sites work collaboratively to achieve system- wide outcomes. Denise is keen to embrace the unique skill sets in leadership, management, and national strategy, and to gain a broader understanding of the National Health Service that her Fellowship will afford. At the end of her tenure she expects she will have enhanced her networks and developed the skills required to be a future clinical leader. Denise hopes that this year will enable her to better define her career path and identify further opportunities to apply her professional experiences and learning.
