CONNECT – Northern Trust Consultant Leadership Programme

CONNECT is a leadership and management development programme for consultant and SAS doctors with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. It has been developed using feedback given in consultant focus groups and via an online survey to consultants. 

The overall aim of the CONNECT programme is to create a culture in which our doctors have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, to engage more in the management and leadership, and make improvement to services.

It also aims to empower doctors to take on an active leadership role and work effectively with other senior leaders in the reform and modernisation of services, supporting the Northern Trust vision of delivering excellent integrated services in partnership with the community.

Who should attend? Consultants (including clinical psychologists) and SAS doctors within Northern HSC Trust 
When? Programme runs November to November annually. Applications open in August.
Location? Within the Northern Trust Area
Cost: Places on programme are free to Northern Health and Social Care Trust Staff (places are limited)
