Ms Katherine Maskell

Co-Chair

Katherine is a final year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. She intercalated in MSc Public Health and received the Wolfson Foundation Intercalated Degree Research Fellowship. She is involved in the Healthcare Leadership Academy, and her interests are in public health, primary care, and patient education. 

Last year Katherine lead a research project in the MSG on medical students' perceptions of medical leadership and management in the undergraduate curriculum. Her previous research activities have covered appropriate prescribing in primary care, service evaluation, health education in waiting rooms, parental understanding of medical terminology, and barriers to clinical research in epidemics.
