FMLM members and fellows recognised in New Year’s Honours list for 2020

We are proud of the achievements of our members and fellows and congratulate those who have been recognised in the 2020 new year’s honours list.
Professor Dame Sally Davies DBE, FMLM Honorary Senior Fellow and lately Chief Medical Officer for England, has been appointed Dame Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath for her services to public health and research.
Professor Bee Wee, FMLM Founding Senior Fellow, member of FMLM’s Board of Trustees and National Clinical Director at NHS England and NHS Improvement, has been appointed a CBE for her services to palliative and end of life care.
Among those receiving OBEs were Dr Victoria Tzortziou Brown, FMLM Founding Senior Fellow and Council Member, for her services to general practice; Dr Henrietta Hughes, GP and National Guardian for the NHS, for her services to the NHS; and Dr Anthony Stevens, a Founding Member of FMLM, for his services to Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland.
