It’s our birthday!

FMLM celebrates five years on 20 October and to illustrate our journey since being established in 2011, we are pleased to present an infographic of our key achievements.

Peter Lees’ editorial this month, Now we are five! expands on the story of our journey so far.

Looking forward, we have our sights set on five milestones:

1. Successfully delivering our 4^th national conference, Leaders in Healthcare 2016 in Liverpool  from 31 October – 2 November, with BMJ, in partnership with NHS England, where we will welcome more than 700 delegates and speakers to help shape healthcare leadership for the future
2. Publishing our new professional journal, BMJ Leader, in partnership with BMJ, in 2017
3. Offering members the opportunity to be recognised for their medical leadership through the newly established fellowship of FMLM
4. Developing the rich vein of alumni from the FMLM-managed National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow Scheme, to drive the best in medical and healthcare leadership
5. Growing the number and influence of FMLM’s regional and medical specialty networks to support doctors locally
