Modules include:

  • How finance works in the NHS
  • Managing the healthcare business
  • Personal effectiveness and leadership
  • Creating and delivering value in healthcare
  • Tools to support decision making
  • Comparative healthcare systems

New for September…

HFMA has developed a new masters-level qualification module entitled ‘O6 Supporting quality care with patient-level costing’. Aimed at clinical, non-finance and finance staff, this module will help learners to appreciate how understanding the way that resources are used can deliver better outcomes for patients and value for the NHS. Module O6 can be studied either as part of HFMA’s masters-level diplomas or as a standalone certificate, starting in September 2018.

The first 20 successful applicants for module O6 can benefit from a reduced fee of £750+VAT for September. Applicants for the diploma or higher diploma, choosing to study module O6 first in September, will also benefit from a £2,000 NHS Improvement/NHS England bursary, reducing the cost from £4,000+VAT to only £1,250+VAT.

The deadline for applications onto the September intake is the 22nd August 2018.

For more information and the application form visit the HFMA website or call 0117 938 8315.
