The Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management was founded in 2011 by all the medical royal colleges as the body responsible for professionalising medical leadership throughout the UK.

As a membership organisation we are deeply committed to improving the careers of our members, and in-turn improving the quality, impact and professionalism of medical leadership in the four nations.

As a member of FMLM you can accredit your leadership experience through the award of FMLM Fellowship, which is a nationally recognised mark of excellence in medical leadership and a required component of national clinical director roles in England. 

For our members we offer regular training opportunities, including webinars and exclusive resources, access to our internationally recognised journal, BMJ Leader, discounts to events from around the UK including our annual conference Leaders in Healthcare, and all members are part of our engaged network of current and aspiring clinical leaders.
