Leading and managing change in the Armed Forces

Brigadier Cordell is currently Head of Medical Strategy & Policy at HQ of Surgeon General, but was previously the Allied Command Operations Medical Advisor based at the NATO Operations HQ at SHAPE in Belgium. He was responsible for co-ordinating the medical support to all NATO operations, the major part of work being support to the mission in Afghanistan.  The webinar drew on examples from his experience in the field.

Robin highlighted potential reasons why change will be needed; there is much to be learned from the experience of change in the recent military context that can be applied to the civil healthcare sector today.
