FMLM Chair Election - get ready to vote for your preferred candidate

Candidates will be announced Friday 29 July 2022  Submit your vote from Monday 1 August

The nominations have now been received for the role of FMLM Chair for appointment with effect from 1 January 2023.

The role is to provide leadership, represent FMLM and inspire and promote leadership excellence at all levels of the medical profession. The Chair is the directly elected chief officer of the faculty who is answerable to the Board and to the members. The Chair is supported by a Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive and the Medical Director, as well as a wider executive team.

This upcoming Friday 29 July the candidate names and campaign statements will be published here and those eligible will be invited to submit their vote for their chosen candidate.

The election will be overseen by Mr Mark Spragg, FMLM Lay Trustee and the ballot process will be managed independently by Civica.

Nominations opened:        Friday 17/06/22

Nominations closed:          Friday 15/07/22

Voting opens:                         Friday 01/08/22

Voting closes:                         Wednesday 31/08/22 Noon

The Board of Trustees executes the responsibilities of trustees as defined by the Charities Act, company law and related statutes and guidance. All members of the Board are Trustees (except co-opted members) as defined by the Charity Commission as well as Directors of FMLM, a company limited by guarantee.
