Unlucky for some, but not for these leaders: 13 members awarded FMLM Fellowship

Congratulations to our members who have been awarded FMLM Fellowship at the assessments earlier this month.
Despite the ongoing challenges within the UK medical profession – and notwithstanding the continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare services – FMLM has seen an increase in membership and applications to become an FMLM fellow; we have now awarded more than 200 fellows since first introducing the certification process.
I am delighted to see applications from doctors at all stages of their medical career. Not only are Fellowship applicants benchmarking their own credentials and demonstrating their leadership competencies, but they are also providing a positive benefit by expanding leadership capability within their teams and organisations. This reflective benefit is increasingly recognised by organisations, including NHS England, who now stipulate FMLM Fellowship as a desirable qualification when recruiting for leadership posts.

Doctors and dentists looking to apply for FMLM Fellowship, to gain a recognised qualification to reflect their leadership competencies and experience, are encouraged to apply by 5 July, to be in time for the Standards Certification and Awards Panel that meets in August.
We are delighted to offer doctors and dentists employed by those organisations which have applied and succeeded in becoming an FMLM Affiliated Organisation a 20 per cent discount on their FMLM membership and Fellowship applications.
