Standards

We are at the forefront of ensuring that under the ‘totality of practice’ concept, medical leadership and management are both assessed and assessible.

During medical education and practice, the primary focus has been on clinical quality, but we feel a range of resources should be available to identify the key standards for medical leaders to aspire to.  Over time, and following extensive consultation throughout the sector, the concept of standards has been developed and refined so that leadership skills of the highest calibre will become the norm and not the exception.
