A beginner's guide to quality improvement

This webinar, hosted by Dr Nikita Kanani for FMLM members new to quality improvement (QI). Aiming to be a practical and accessible introduction to the area, Dr Kanani started with a clip from the Cleveland Clinic, reminding attendees of the link between QI and patient care.

The six dimensions of quality raised discussion about balancing these in the current health landscape, and highlighted the value of articulating quality clearly and meaningfully for individuals and organisations. Through practical examples the 'Model for Improvement' was explored as a tool to QI, and the relevance of data and measurement highlighted. Finally, enablers of successful QI projects were discussed, and resources shared.

The remainder of this page is for FMLM members only.
