The Cambridge QI Conference 2018
Aimed at medical students and trainees, this one day national conference will focus on quality improvement methodologies and how they can be practically applied. It will be composed of inspirational lectures, practical workshops and a showcase of medical student and trainee talent through a poster and oral presentation competition.
An interactive workshop QI masterclass will take place during the morning with further talks from QI experts throughout the day.
CPD points will be applied for and are TBC. Certificates of attendance and for oral and poster presenters will be provided.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Dr Stephen Gilliam, General Practitioner and Director in Public Health Education, University of Cambridge
- Dr Hannah Baird, FMLM Trainee Steering Group Chair and Improvement Science Fellow, Haelo
- Professor Bryn Baxendale, Consultant Anaesthetist, University of Notttingham
- Dr Kaanthan Jawahar, FMLM Trainee Steering Group Communications Lead and ST4 Old Age Psychiatrist Trainee
- Dr Katie Chong, Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine, Royal College of Physicians College Tutor, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust
